Welcome to Forest Reflections Luxury Bed & Breakfast. Less than an Hour's drive from British Columbia's capital, Victoria over the breathtaking Malhat Drive, we are located a short 6 minute drive from the quaint village of Cobble Hill in the Cowichan Valley, the heart of Vancouver Island's Wine Country.

The Cowichan Valley is focused around the City of Duncan,with several communities in the valley including Cobble Hill, Mill Bay, Shawnigan Lake, Cowichan Bay, and Chemainus. The Cowichan Valley was selected the #1 Rural area to live & reside in Canada by Harrowsmith Magazine. It is easy to see why as one enjoys the Cowichan Valley's gently rolling countryside - a valley of farms and forests, lakes and rivers, hills, trails, and wonderful ocean beaches.

Seven Vineyards (with more to come) and a cidery are located here, as well as several private boarding schools, including Brentwood College, Maxwell Bahai School, and Shawnigan Lake School.

Our Country Style Luxury Home is on our 5 acre estate and was just completed construction in 2004. We are in a forested area with our street (Kingburne Drive) running parallel to the Koksilah River. Enjoy our beautiful little lake complete with dock & trout. All types of wildlife like to visit too including deer, martin, mink, eagles, owls, & osprey just to name a few! Maybe you will see them too!

We offer 3 Luxurious rooms all with "birds eye" views of the Pond. A Romance room complete with canopy bed a 2 person jettub, Country Room with 4 Poster Queen Size Bed & sitting area, and our Double Room which has 2 very comfortable Single Beds. All rooms have cable TV and we are equipped with a wireless router if you need access to the Internet. You are invited to
relax on our many decks and walk around the property. We are close to many hiking/biking trails and would be happy to show and tell you about them too!

The Setting
Located on a 5 acre estate we have tried to preserve the rainforestsetting around the pond that you can see from your room. Birds & wildlife are in abundance and you are also close to walking trails, the Koksalah River,and its Municipal park. The inside reflects the outside with use of Maple, Alder, Cherry, Cedar, & Douglas Fir in the construction of, and finishingofour home. As we work on the environment around our property you will beable to see the grounds and gardens mature.

FISHING ANYONE ?
Enjoy the numerous lakes, rivers, and streams in the Cowichan Valley. Trout, Steelhead, and salmon abound. forest Reflections is a short 15 minute drive from the Cowichan River and the Koksiliah River runs parrallel to Kingburne and is accessible thorugh the municipal park at the end of the road.
LIKE TROUT FISHING? ELLISON LAKE TROUT RANCH offers a Private Lake stocked with rainbow trout on a picturesque 12 acre estate and best of all no licence required. Spincast or fly flyfish is a great experience for everyone. PREFER SALTWATER FISHING and those big Salmon!. Cowichan bay is a 10 minute drive from Forest Reflections where there are numerous charter operators and rentals.

GOLFER'S PARADISE
If you love to golf then you are in the right place staying at Forest Reflections. We are close to two World Class Golf Courses and within an hours drive of many others. Arbutus Ridge Golf & Country Club is only a 10-12 minute drive from Forest Reflections and features incredible Ocean views and wonderful Club & Restaurant. Cowichan Valley Golf and Country Club is located just south of Duncan and is only a 15 minute Drive from Forest Reflections and the Jack Niclaus designed and the Bear Mountain Golf Club about a 25-30 min drive(approx 18-20 miles away.

Arbutus Ridge Golf and Country Club (4 miles)

Cowichan Valley Golf and Country Club (10 miles)
The 6189 Yard long course is a par 70 with many tight fairways lined with trees. The course also features views of Cowichan Bay and the surrounding mountains. The course is relatively flat throughout with some gentle sloping fairways and fast undulating greens. The signature hole is the 11th, which is played over a ravine and has an elevated green guarded by both a broad gully and a lake. Cowichan Golf and Country Club is the proud host to the annual Cowichan Open.
