Castaway Cottage, built in 2006, is situated in the heart of the quaint village of Trevone, and only 100 metres from the sandy beach. The property has been finished to a very high specification and features all mod-cons.

Downstairs there is an open plan kitchen / dining room incorporating a range of modern fitted units as well as a oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer. There is also a large oak dining table which seats 6. In addition, the twin bedroom is also located on the same floor - which has been charmingly furnished as well as the main bathroom which has a modern range of sanitaryware with a shower over the bath.

Upstairs there is a light and airy lounge with designer sofas (one of which is a double sofabed), tv, DVD, music system and a range of games and books. The double bedroom is also on this level, and features a large window overlooking the courtyard garden, and has been decorated to a very high standard. The en-suite is located off this bedroom and has a toilet, sink and shower.

To the outside is a well enclosed courtyard garden as well as a parking space.

We welcome a pet, for an additional £15 a week.

TREVONE
Trevone is a small village which is famous for its two beaches (sandy beach & rocky beach), blow hole and natural swimming pool all set within the beautiful natural surroundings of Cornwalls' North coast. The cliffs to the north east provide fantastic walks and views to Hawkers Cove, Camel estuary and beyond.  Trevone is ideally situated as a base for North Cornwall and beyond. Padstow is just a few minutes drive away, the resort of Newquay some 20 minutes drive and some of Cornwall's most popular attractions such as The Eden Project, Lanhydrock House, Truro, St Ives and Boscastle all less than 45 minutes away.

There are many activities for all ages - golf at Trevose Head, surfing, body boarding, fishing, coastal walks (adjacent to the national coastal path), golfing, horse riding, or just relaxing on the sandy beach.

The Championship Course:  As with all links golf the difficulty is with the wind, guaranteeing the golf course plays differently almost every day. The greens are quick all year round and the course guaranteed to be in great condition 365 days a year. The fairways are tightly cut and the rough penal in places, but fair, along with many strategically placed bunkers that are ready to swallow up golf balls.
The Headland Course:  The course works its way out to the Headland and back at which point you can almost touch the sea with views stretching down the coast towards St Ives.   Less busy than the Championship Course but with greens equal in quality and speed, golfers of all abilities can enjoy this course. It is a handicap rated course so those wishing to put cards in for handicap review can do so.
The Short Course:  The short 9 Hole Course has been in existance for over 30 years and is an excellent test for the beginner, the older person who just wants a little exercise, the juniors who are not quite sure of themselves or the seasoned golfers who need to brush up on their iron play.
