Le Prieure des Sources, Luxury Bed and Breakfast near Valence Golf Club and Valdaine golf, Drome Provencale

Luxurious, discreet and quite stunning is how we would initially describe Le Prieure des Sources.

Located at the foot of Drôme Provençale, between the Vercors and the South, this 18th century stone house is also incredibly easygoing with a great atmosphere. Patrick, Eric and Jean-Jacques have imbued the whole house with their vision of how the whole hospitality thing should be done, so that whilst Le Prieure des Sources is incredibly well decorated and appointed, it is also informal and laid back. That is not an easy balance to achieve, in our experience.

Swimming Pool, 18mx7m, heated, with its bubbled stair, its Jacuzzi (7 places), its fine sand beach and its palm trees for an escape at the end of the WORLD...

Breakfast can be taken at any time (no need to get up before 9 in the morning!), spa, sauna and steam baths are at your disposal and even truffle hunts can be organised. In fact, food is an important part of life at Le Prieure des Sources. Jean-Jacques is a great cook and uses the fresh produce from the garden to great effect culinary wise. You can take your meal in the garden or in the Zen like dining room.

Given the large rooms (see below) location, decoration and general ambience, this luxury bed & breakfast is fantastic.

with Italian shower, flat screen TV, CD and DVD… THE COCOONING ROOM!!

SUITE RUBIS: 2 independent rooms in a building, private access, 80 m2,
with Italian shower, flat screen TV, CD and DVD… TONIC COLOURS!!

The house is located in Drôme provençale, in Auriples-La Répara near Montélimar at the entry of the touristics roads of Diois and Vercors (know for water sports and climbing), near Nyons (known for oil trees), Dieulefit (know for pottery) and the old villages of the wine roads (La bégude de Mazenc, Poet Laval, Grignan, forêt de Saou…)

Golf Club Valence St Didier
18 Holes (par 71 5595m) This course, the oldest in the Drôme, is situated between Valence and Romans. The forest incursions and changing landscape combine to make this a varied and extremely pleasant golfing experience. It is accessible to players of all levels.

Domaine de la Valdaine
On a 75 ha domain, you will appreciate this course, where nature has been preserved. No major difficulties, but relatively short so you will need dexterity. Very nice with few variations in level, varied holes, water hazards, small greens requesting precision. Good weather conditions.

East of Valence opened in 1988, le golf du Bourget (ex New Golf Montmeyran) is in a beautiful location, open course, large fairways but the greens well defended is an enjoyable course for all levels of golfers.
