The castle is situated in the middle of the village of Linxe within the region of the largest pine forest in Europe. “Les Landes” offers wonderful possibilities for golfers, walkers, riders and cyclists alike.

The Atlantic Ocean, with its unending stretches of sandy beaches and rolling sand-dunes, is only 10kms from the Castle. The lake of Leon, also lies within easy reach (6kms), offers quiet beaches ideal for small children, as well as multitude of possibilities for watersports activities. Moliets golf courses are just 15kms.

The Castle, with 4 hectares of parkland, is surrounded by the “Chateau lodge” and 4 typical houses. Included in the area, are swimming pool, a tennis court, a lake (rod fishing allowed) and a play area. Chateau Belle Époque, with its landscape will fulfil all your wishes. You can choose an apartment, a private house or bed and breakfast rooms in the Chateau only, for a week end or more. We look forward to welcome you!

Bed and Breakfast Rooms

The Château has been lovingly restored to offer 5 spacious and refined bed and breakfast guest rooms. You will be seduced by the interiors. The meetings rooms reserved for the guests are of Victorian-style with elegant wood engravings.

All the rooms are different with old style furniture, fireplace and parquet flooring. They are vast and comfortable, offering a real “chateau lifestyle”. They enjoy excellent views of the park or French-style garden. All the rooms have WIFI access

Breakfast is served in the “Belle Epoque" room where you can admire the superb ceilings or in the park as required. Meals are to order otherwise the village restaurant is 300m away.

The 9 apartments of the château’s lodge have a private terrace looking out on the park.

The Fiacre , The Sellerie , The Cabriolet, The Calèche, The Cocher and The Palfrenier are all apartments for 5 people and comprise of 3 rooms, kitchen and bathroom

Golf de Moliets, a remarkable course laid in the pine forests of Les Landes and along the beach. Both technical and strategic, proficient golfers will find it a challenge; jagged bunkers are a remarkable form of defence for the greens, and putting surfaces are contoured. Designed by Robert Trent Jones. Par 72, 6173 m

Hossegor Golf Course created in 1930, this is one of the most beautiful courses in France. Every hole is lined on both sides by a variety of trees. The greens are of the best quality. You will need your handicap card to play here! Par 71, 6004 m.

Golf de Seignosse, rated 15th best in Europe by Golf World magazine, Seignosse is a famous modern masterpiece. It threads its way through pine trees and cork oaks, over steeply undulating terrain and daunting water hazards. Rolling fairways and sand traps and water hazards.

Golf d’Arcangues, provides fantastic views of the Basque countryside and over the Pyrenees. It is partly wooded and partly in the open. Bunkers and greens require a lot of careful thought and precision. It is a very technical course. Par 72, 6142 m.

Golf de Bassussary is lined by magnificent old oaks and designed within vast parks, with wide fairways and holes that all vary greatly from one another. Wooded and undulating, it allows golfers of all levels a chance to relax and enjoy their game. It is a good test for the better player. It is well maintained. Par 72, 6176 m.

Biarritz Le Phare, this is the second oldest in France, built in 1888. The course extends over 30 hectares and has 70 bunkers. It has very high quality greens. Located near the centre of Biarritz.

Golf Chiberta, Anglet, an international course, designed in 1926, is rated among the top 10 in France. It is by the sea, in a forest and by a lake. There is also a 9 hole course which is excellent for beginners and golfers of all levels. Designed by Tom Simpson. Par 70, 5901 m.
